Chaz always loved baseball, although many people had told him he was too small to play. Coaches and kids bullied him and tried to get him to give up. But Chaz would use his work ethic and drive to even the ball field even with the rough hand. Chaz walks us through the frameworks that took him from shy redhead kid to professional ballplayer. Of all the people featured on the show, we know the kids will understand Chaz's story, and he, more than anyone, hopes it will help them.
Baseball Coach
Chaz is a health sciences graduate of Bellevue University. While attending school full time, he played baseball for the Bulldogs at the varsity level. After completing his undergraduate degree, Chaz tried out for professional ball and was offered a contract. However, an unfortunate back injury derailed his career and he returned to Bellevue to pursue his master's degree in communication and coaching.
Chaz is a health nut. When he's not studying or playing baseball, you can find him in the gym or out on a run. He loves spending time with his family and friends, and he's always up for trying new things (especially if it involves food). Chaz is an avid learner and has a passion for coaching and helping others achieve their goals.
