Kay-Jay (Keri) a 6 ft tall UK international fashion model, influencer, brand ambassador and recently actress, started her model career at the age of 13 when she was scouted by a German fashion designer whilst on a family holiday. She had very little confidence having been teased and picked on about her being tall, skinny, and spotty with gappy teeth (she was 5ft 10 inch tall at 13). She was encouraged and supported by her family and the day before her 14th birthday she walked the runway for the first time in Berlin, in the German designer’s fashion show wearing her signature long dress. She began to realise her dream (she loved fashion and often did little fashion shows with her sisters when she was little) Keri then set up her own brand and became Kay-Jay-Model. Over the course of five years, she has worked with designers from all over the world, walked the runway in London, Berlin, Madeira, Amsterdam and has been published internationally.
She has won awards for Miss Teen Popularity, and Miss Teen Charity,was awarded for achievement in fashion, modelling and community support (she helped a young lad who was 17 who was being bullied and lacked in confidence). She has also raised money for several charities, received recognition with the title of Miss World Top Ten Best Model 2019 and The Variety Club TVC virtual awards Best Female model 2020.
Due to covid restrictions working from home has given her opportunities to become an influencer promoting various products from designer clothes to jewellery and beauty products. She is passionate about her work which she currently does full-time but also studied and qualified in all things Travel and Tourism and eventually would like to travel the world with her work.
Recently, Kay-Jay has been offered an acting role in a movie. Later this year she will be featuring in a UK gangster comedy.
In her spare time, she enjoys visits to the gym and supporting Teenage/child Cancer and mental health and well-being charities and her attitude towards people is simple, treat people how you wish to be treated and a kind word, a smile, manners and a listening ear, costs nothing but can mean everything!
It is Kay-Jay’s aim to be a good role model for other aspiring young models and to be the best she can be in her field of work.
